The high intensity UV rays produced by the UV lamp help in instantly curing or drying inks or coatings in the printer. The usage of light instead of heat enables the ink to harden and dry instantly. Curing inks by using UV rays is fast catching up as an alternative to traditional solvents- based products. In the conventional drying methods, there is always a risk of environment pollution.
