The Ideal Horizons - LBR-8 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 17 watts UV bulb that gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The four pin on a single end lamp bulb has wattage of 17 watts and an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. With ceramic as its base material, the germicidal water treatment bulb has a length of 14.06 inches and a wavelength range of 254nm. This wavelength reacts with the genetics of the microorganisms and renders them incapable of reproduction.
The lamp makes use of UV-C light to inactivate and kill bacteria, molds, virus and protozoa present in water. The lamp bulb has a high quality lifespan and is low on mercury dosage to meet the demands of the environment.
