The Ideal Horizons - SH-15 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a guaranteed replacement UV bulb that has single pin on both ends. This 39 watts UV bulb has a 33.2 inch lamp length and gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year.

The germicidal water treatment bulb is compatible with germicidal OEM Water sterilization filters, UV sanitizers and water purifiers. Since the light bulbs are intended to destroy microorganisms it is necessary to schedule replacement of the bulbs annually to ensure efficiency of the system. These high-quality lamps can last for approximately 10,000 working hours after which the UV output reduces though the UV lamp emits bright light.

This bulb is available with a shatterproof coating that in case of damage keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit where is installed. This results in an easy way to dispose of glass if it shatters. You can select this shatterproof option above.

Do I need shatterproof coating?

Although shatterproof coating can lower the intensity of the UV-C bulb by as much as 15%, it is recommended for applications in which it is crucial to avoid potential glass breakage at all costs.
