The Ultra Dynamics - GSL692T5L UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 32 watts, 27.2 inches lamp that gives you a worry free performance for an entire year. The lamp has single pin on both ends for better water purification. The lamp is used to inactivate pathogens in water and makes water safe for consumption.
The genetic material of the microorganism is deactivated when germicidal UV light passes through them and makes them incapable of multiplying. Researchers are of the opinion that this method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process. It does not affect the chemistry, pH or taste of water in the process and is a much better option to chemicals and their bi-products.
