The Water Gem - 11002 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a single pin on both ends that provides a worry-free performance for an entire year. The high ozone lamp bulb is a 75 watts UV bulb that has a wavelength range of 185nm. The emitted wavelength acts on the genetics of the microorganisms present in water and renders them harmless against reproduction. With single pin on both ends, the T5/T6 germicidal UV bulb has base material as ceramic and an average life of 10,000 hours.
Since the light bulbs are intended to destroy microorganisms it is necessary to schedule replacement of the bulbs annually to ensure efficiency of the system. These high-quality lamps must be replaced every year though the UV lamp emits bright light.
