The Wedeco - AP1 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a guaranteed replacement UV bulb that has a lamp length of 12.8 inches and provides you with a worry-free performance for an entire year. The 16.5 watts UV bulb comes with ceramic as its base material and has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours.
With lead wire and connector on a single end base, the lamp bulb is 100% compatible with germicidal OEM Water sterilization filters, UV sanitizers and water purifiers. UV method is a preferred method of water treatment as it employs UV light at a particular wavelength and disrupts the DNA of microorganisms. It is compatible with germicidal OEM water disinfection filters, UV water purifiers and sanitizers. It is capable of destroying 99.9% harmful organisms in water. While this method effectively destroys the genetics of microorganisms it does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water in the process.
