The Wedeco - DLR1 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 16.5 watts UV bulb that has ceramic as its base material and a wavelength range of 254 nm. With a lamp length of 12.8 inches, the germicidal UV bulb comes with an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. The lead wire and connector on a single end base, the germicidal lamp bulb has a high quality long lifespan and has a low mercury dosage to meet the demands of the environment.
Studies show that the UV water purification has the ability to destroy 99.9% waterborne microorganisms. This process of sterilizing water is a purely a physical process and does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water. This system protects you from containments such as yeast, cyst, virus, bacteria and protozoa.
