The Wedeco - I40693 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 187 watts germicidal UV bulb that provides you with a worry-free performance for an entire year. The four pin base bulb is made using ceramic and has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. The lamp bulb has a wavelength range of 254 nm that destroys microorganisms present in water.
Researchers are of the opinion that UV rays are effective to destroy 99.99% germs in water that may possibly cause harmful bacteria and microorganismss such as organisms causing gastroenteritis, typhoid, influenza virus, Vibrio cholerae, and hepatitis virus strains.
