Single Pin Double Ended - 75 Watt Germicidal Water Treatment Bulb
Our Aquafine 3098 Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a single pin double ended light bulb that has a total length of 61.22" and an arc length of 58.66". The lamp is rated to have a life of 10,000 hours after which we highly recommend replacing the light bulb. The UVC light bulb has a peak output of 253.7 nm that effectively destroys the genetics of the microorganisms rendering them harmless. Pathogens such as giardia and cryptosporidium can be effectively destroyed with this method of purification. These cost effective purifiers and their lamps do not make use of chemicals and their by-products. This method of water purification does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water. Experts are of the opinion that it is necessary to replace the Aquafine 3098 Replacement UVC Light Bulb annually for better efficiency and its ability to destroy waterborne microorganisms.
