During the vegetative and flowering stages of plant growth, the plants are absorbing so much light and energy that any presence of mold spores can quickly gain traction and propagate throughout the cultivation. This spread can happen not only via airborne fungus but also through the stems, roots, and leaves themselves.

For the airborne mold spores, we recommend installing an AC coil scrubber and an ultraviolet duct sanitizer but for those beginnings of mold that can appear on the leaves, the best spot treatment comes from this 60 watt targeted microbial eliminator. A few seconds daily in between light and dark cycles can eliminate mold spores before they have a chance to spread.

Not only is this useful for spot treatment on leaves but this system can also be used to sanitize equipment and staff rooms as well as to conduct deep cleaning of rooms in between harvests to ensure that all new growths are starting from a clean and healthy point.

GermAway UV, mindful of your need for ease and efficiency has made this device simple but safe to use.

The lamp is easy to position and easy to turn on. After you’ve set the timer to a length that suits either your schedule or disinfectant needs you’re almost ready to go. Because exposure UV-C rays are harmful to eyes and skin all you need to do is take a few minutes to check and clear the room of all people, animals and plants and you’re set to press start. The device even has a voice prompter to alert you to when it will start.

Once the device has run for the time set it will automatically shut off. You can then switch of and unplug it, and return the lamp arm to its storage position. Simple as that.
