The Watts Hydro-Safe HSUV-SS-M-24 Water Treatment Germicidal UV Light Bulb is a four pin, single ended light bulb that can give you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The ceramic light bulb has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which it must be replaced for better performance of the system.

The genetic material of the microorganism is deactivated when germicidal UV light passes through them and makes them incapable of multiplying.
