The Philips - TUV Pl-L 55W Air/Water Treatment Germicidal UV Light Bulb is a guaranteed replacement UV bulb that is completely compatible with filters, sanitizers and air/water purifiers of the following system model:

The lamp helps in inactivating the DNA of the bacteria, molds, virus and other pathogens present in water. The light bulb emits a short wavelength of 253.7nm, which alters the microorganisms and renders them harmless. The 20" germicidal bulb makes use of air/ water purification and the fixture is of a good quality. The light bulb has a long lifespan and tested strictly for quality. It has low mercury dosages that help in meeting environmental demands. Since UV treatment is only a physical state, it does not alter the taste, pH, or chemical composition of water.
