The Ushio GPL18K Air/Water Treatment Germicidal UV Light Bulb is a four pin in a single line on a single end light bulb that has a U bend tube and a lamp length of 8.66 inches. The ceramic light bulb provides an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which it must be replaced with a new bulb even it if continues to emit light.
The 18 watts UVC lamp bulb is 100% compatible with germicidal OEM Air & Water sterilization filters, UV sanitizers and air/water purifiers. The lamp is low on mercury dosage to meet to environmental standards and has a long lifespan too. the lamp bulb emits energy radiation that reacts photo-chemically with DNA of the microorganisms such as spores, bacteria, protozoa and virus. The UV reaction in water sanitizes the microorganisms and prevents their multiplication.
