4 Pin Stepped on a Single End - 14 Watt Germicidal Water Treatment Bulb
The Sterilight R-CAN S287RL Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a four pin stepped on a single end 14 Watts bulb. The replacement bulb has an arc length of 7.87 inches and a total length of 11.3 inches. The UVC light bulb has a lamp voltage of 39V and is set in a non-ozone glass. With ceramic as its base material, the light bulb has a rated life of 10,000 hours and a peak output of 253.7nm. This short wavelength eliminates the genetic structure of the microorganisms in water.
The UVC light technology helps in sterilizing and killing microorganisms in water and is 99.9% effective treatment against bacteria, molds, virus, yeast and protozoa. The light bulb is compatible with germicidal OEM water disinfection filters, UV water purifiers and sanitizers. The lamp from CureUV is thoroughly tested and must be replaced annually for better efficiency. This process of sterilizing water is a purely physical process and does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water.
