The Siemens/Sunlight - 3098 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 75 Watts germicidal water treatment bulb that gives you a problem-free performance for almost a year. With an average lifespan of 10,000 hours, the germicidal water treatment bulb must be replaced after its scheduled life even if it continues to emit light.
Researchers are of the opinion that UV water purification provides a safe solution as this method of sterilization is a purely physical process and does not alter the pH, chemistry or taste of water. This method is both economic and environmental friendly.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
