The Ushio - G15T8 Base Germicidal UV Light Bulb is a 15 watts UV bulb that gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The two pin lamp bulb has a diameter of 25.5mm and a UV output of 4.9 watts. With an average life of 8000 hours, the germicidal UV light bulb makes use of 55 volts to destroy bacteria, molds, virus and other pathogens present in water.
When water passes through the UV water treatment system, the microorganisms present in water are exposed to the light and their genetics is disrupted, thus inhibiting their ability to reproduce.
