The Watts Hydro-Safe HSUV-SS-M-12 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment has a lamp length of 33.74 inches. The four pin on a single end light bulb has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which we highly recommend that you replace the light bulb for better efficiency. The water treatment bulb features a wavelength with lethal effectiveness of up to 254nm. Researchers believe that this wavelength may help in disrupting the DNA of harmful microorganisms.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
