The Wedeco/Ideal Horizons - SVE-7 Water Treatment Germicidal UV Light Bulb is a guaranteed replacement UV bulb that has a four pin on a single end base. The 22 watts replacement bulb has a 17.72 inches lamp length and provides a worry-free performance for an entire year.
The quality of the water we use immensely affects our health and wellbeing. This germicidal sanitizer is designed to destroy, bacteria, virus, protozoa, cyst and other microorganisms that may create havoc on our health. The light bulb emits short UV-C radiation that has a UV output peak of 254nm. This radiation is considered to be highly lethal for microorganisms and alters their genetic framework and prevents them from reproducing.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit. This results in easy disposal of glass if it shatters and renders it easy to operate the system. All you will need to do is to select the option above. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that operates hot.
