The Opsytec UV-LED Chamber BSL-03 is the second-largest model in the BSL series, combining high irradiance with precise dose control to deliver outstanding reproducibility and consistent results. With irradiance levels reaching up to 220 mW/cm², it is ideal for applications involving UV-curing adhesives, coatings, and lacquers.

For high-intensity requirements, the BSL-03 can be configured with a single LED wavelength. For more flexibility, two independently controllable wavelengths can be integrated, allowing full customization for different photoinitiator or material needs.

Compared to the traditional BS series, the BSL-03 achieves 22 times higher irradiance, resulting in extremely short exposure times. Its high uniformity allows samples to be freely positioned without compromising the curing consistency. Featuring hallmark UV-LED advantages such as instant start, dimmable output, and long service life, this chamber is perfectly suited for medium-scale laboratory testing and curing of large components.

The UV-MAT and UV-MAT Touch control systems are integrated within the chamber for precise dose regulation. When paired with an optional sensor, the system continuously measures irradiance and automatically stops exposure upon reaching the target dose. The built-in timer further ensures accurate irradiation control, and for enhanced precision, calibrated UVA+ sensors are recommended.

Available wavelengths include 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm, 405 nm, and 450 nm. Two performance configurations are offered:

  • 0 to 220 mW/cm² (HO version)
  • 0 to 110 mW/cm² (ECO version)

Due to the low thermal output of the UV LEDs and a sample chamber temperature of approximately 104 °F (40 °C), the risk of heat damage to samples is minimized.

The chamber provides a spacious internal area of 23.6 x 15.7 x 9.8 in (60 x 40 x 25 cm), with a movable sample carrier for easy placement of parts requiring curing or bonding. Despite its large capacity, the design remains compact and operator-safe—the fully enclosed and monitored system ensures complete protection against UV exposure.
