Contra-Band™ MTek® Hearing Bands provide convenient, on-demand hearing protection for environments that require metal detectability and frequent insertion and removal of earplugs. Designed to be worn comfortably under the chin, this hearing band is ideal for food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and other contamination-controlled industrial settings where compliance and detection are critical.

Contra-Band™ MTek® features metal-detectable, replaceable earplugs with a comfortable “air bubble” tip to support consistent sealing and extended wear. Both the plugs and band are manufactured using metal-infused materials to enhance detectability in regulated environments. The lightweight band applies minimal pressure, allowing for all-day comfort without fatigue, while molded finger grips enable quick, hygienic insertion. Each unit is supplied as a pack of 10 hearing bands. A non–metal-detectable version is also available as the standard Contra-Band™ Hearing Band.
