Opsytec ICH Q1B Irradiation Chamber BS-02 is engineered for reliable and compliant photostability testing aligned with ICH Q1B and VICH GL5 guidelines. Designed for medical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, it delivers controlled UVA and visible light exposure with high uniformity, stable temperature conditions, and automated dose management—supporting precise, repeatable results for regulated environments.
The BS-02+ offers a compact footprint while providing ample space for sample positioning. Its internal temperature remains close to 77 °F (25 °C), helping prevent thermal stress or sample degradation. Thanks to highly uniform irradiance, specimens can be arranged freely without compromising test consistency.
Illumination is achieved with cool-white LED sources (400–700 nm) and UVA fluorescent lamps emitting between 350–370 nm, meeting ICH Q1B and VICH GL5 requirements. Both light sources are dimmable without shifting spectral distribution and automatically shut off once the target dose of 1.2 million LUX-hours and 200 Wh/m² is reached.
The system is compatible with the UV-MAT Touch controller, which monitors UVA and visible light separately for constant dose control, compensating for aging, contamination, or temperature influence. Each sensor integrates a precise A/D converter and temperature sensor, calibrated according to DIN EN ISO 17025 standards. UV-MAT Touch logs irradiance and temperature and enables PC control for streamlined documentation.
