The Opsytec Radiometer RMD Pro is a precision measurement instrument designed for professional UV and visible light analysis, ideal for laboratory, industrial, and production environments. Engineered with advanced technology and over 30 years of expertise from Opsytec Dr. Gröbel GmbH, it provides highly accurate, reliable readings across a wide dynamic range with minimal noise. Its modular sensor system allows users to easily switch between ultraviolet and visible sensors, making it versatile for a variety of irradiation and illuminance applications.
The RMD Pro features dual sensor inputs for simultaneous data capture, enabling multi-channel readings such as UVA irradiance and illuminance at the same time. Each sensor includes built-in memory for identification and calibration data, ensuring traceable and consistent performance. The integrated temperature sensor, multi-stage amplification, and 24-bit analog-to-digital converter guarantee exceptional measurement precision, even in variable environmental conditions.
The newly designed diffuser provides excellent cosine correction and lateral uniformity, distributing radiation evenly across multiple channels. Measurement data are clearly displayed on the large graphic screen, and stored values can be easily transferred to a PC via USB. Using the included software, the RMD can be fully controlled remotely. The device operates on battery or external power supply and supports continuous data logging for up to 100 days.
Typical applications include the measurement of UV LEDs, UVC disinfection systems, NDT and material testing, and occupational safety evaluations. It is also ideal for dose measurements, erythema-weighted radiation analysis, and verification of UVC surface disinfection processes.
