The Opsytec UV irradiation chamber BS-02 is a precision-engineered system designed for testing material resistance to UVC exposure in compliance with IEC 60335-1 standards. Ideal for laboratories and manufacturers evaluating non-metallic materials under UVC radiation, this chamber ensures accurate, accelerated aging and disinfection testing with precise control of temperature, irradiance, and exposure duration.
The BSH-02 UVC chamber delivers 750 W total lamp power using ozone-free UVC amalgam lamps, achieving an irradiance that is 750 % higher than standard BS-series models. This makes it suitable for both high-energy applications and UV curing tasks requiring uniform, controlled exposure.
Its interior irradiation area measures 46 × 32 cm with a height of 25 cm, while maintaining a stable operating temperature around 45 °C to prevent thermal damage to specimens. The irradiance uniformity across the chamber allows samples to be placed freely without compromising consistency.
The UV-MAT irradiation control system provides time- or dose-controlled operation, ensuring a constant UV dose regardless of lamp aging, contamination, or temperature changes. Each system includes calibrated sensors with integrated temperature sensors and analog-digital converters for accurate readings.
A cosine-corrected diffuser and PTB-traceable calibration guarantee precision and long-term stability. Sensor memory stores identification data and calibration history, and a factory calibration certificate is included.
Optionally, the UV-MAT can be PC-controlled, enabling multi-stage irradiation sequences and comprehensive process documentation.
