Maintenance & Replacement

For optimal germicidal performance, replace the UV lamp every 12 months. Although the lamp may continue to produce visible light beyond this period, its UV-C output can decrease over time, reducing disinfection effectiveness.

Before replacing the lamp, disconnect the UV system from its power supply and allow the lamp to cool. Always handle the replacement bulb with clean gloves to prevent fingerprints and oils from contaminating the quartz surface.

Inspect and clean the quartz sleeve during routine maintenance to remove mineral deposits and buildup that may reduce UV transmission.
