Maintenance & Replacement

For dependable UV water treatment performance, replace the lamp every 12 months. Even if the lamp continues to illuminate beyond its recommended service interval, its germicidal UV-C output may have decreased below the level required for effective disinfection.

Before replacement, disconnect the system from electrical power and allow the lamp to cool. Handle the new UV bulb using clean gloves to prevent fingerprints and skin oils from contaminating the quartz surface.

During routine maintenance, inspect and clean the quartz sleeve to remove mineral deposits, scale, and other buildup that may interfere with UV transmission.
