The UVpad E delivers laboratory-grade spectral UV measurements in a compact, handheld instrument. Built on the proven technology of the UVpad radiometer, this enhanced model features an external sensor and optimized firmware for even greater precision, stability, and ease of operation.
Equipped with 512 photodiodes, the UVpad E measures the complete UV spectrum from 240–480 nm, providing fully traceable categorization into UVA, UVB, UVC, and VIS according to international standards. Unlike traditional radiometers, it does not require calibration to a single light source—ensuring consistent, accurate readings across different UV lamps and UV-LED systems.
During measurement, the device displays the full spectrum in real time. With a single click, users can view irradiance values for each UV band, while dose and irradiance-over-time profiles are automatically recorded in the background. Measurement data and spectra can be exported to the included PC software for detailed evaluation, comparison, data logging, and long-term tracking. The UVpad E can also function as a PC-controlled spectrometer for more advanced applications.
Displayed Measurement Results
• Full UV spectrum at maximum irradiance
• Irradiance (UVA, UVB, UVC, VIS) and peak irradiance
• Irradiance time profile
• Dose measurements for all UV ranges
Typical Applications
• UV-LED and ultraviolet lamp characterization
• Verification of UV dose in curing, disinfection, and exposure processes
• Universal irradiance measurement across industrial, laboratory, and R&D environments
PC Software (UVpad Viewer)
Connect the UVpad E to a computer to visualize, compare, export, and archive measurement data. The software allows tracking changes in spectrum, irradiance, or dose at the touch of a button. Each measurement is saved with full metadata, including timestamps and optional user comments for clear traceability.
