This replacement quartz sleeve is designed for use with Luminor Environmental RQ-850 UV systems and is compatible with the Blackcomb LB4-201 UV lamp. The quartz sleeve surrounds the UV lamp and provides a protective barrier between the lamp and the treated water.
For proper UV system performance, the quartz sleeve should be kept clean and clear. Mineral deposits, scale, or other buildup on the sleeve can reduce UV light transmission and decrease the effectiveness of the UV system. Regular inspection and cleaning are recommended, and the sleeve should be replaced if it becomes damaged or cannot be restored to a clear condition.
