The lamp works well to dry and cure inks in signs and graphics. The replacement lamp consists of a quartz plate that prevents debris from falling on the lamp and also works as filler between the curing system and the lamp. The replacement lamp is extensively used in the printing industry to cure inks and coatings and the lamp resists smudges and is environmental friendly as there is no process of solvent evaporation as conventional drying methods.
