The Ultravation AS-IH-1013 Dual Spectrum Germicidal UV Lamp is a germicidal treatment bulb gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year and is 100% equivalent to UV PhotoMax Model UVP-3000.

This germicidal sanitizer is designed to destroy, bacteria, virus, protozoa, cyst and other microorganisms that may create havoc on our health. The light bulb emits short UV-C radiation that has a UV output peak of 253.7nm. This radiation is considered to be highly lethal for microorganisms and alters their genetic framework and prevents them from reproducing.

The germicidal treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit. This results in easy disposal of glass if it shatters and renders it easy to operate the system. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that operates hot.
