The Aquionics 130033-0651 High Output Germicidal Replacement Lamp is a Replacement UVC Light Bulb that has an arc length of 30.19" and a total length of 33.19". The light bulb has a rated life of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the light bulb even if it continues to emit light. The light bulb has a base style of four pin on a single end and is made using ceramic. With a peak output of 253.7nm, the replacement light bulb is capable of destroying the DNA of the microorganisms in water to render them harmless. This process is entirely a physical state and not a chemical one, which means that it is eco-friendly and at the same time extremely safe and effective. The process does not alter the pH and taste of water and is a non-chemical approach to disinfection.

With a 12 months worry-free operation, this UV-C bulb can destroy protozoa, yeast, bacteria and molds. It is suggested that you annually replace the light bulb for better efficiency and germ-controlling ability.
