The Atlantic Ultraviolet AD12-2 UV Light Bulb for Germicidal Water Treatment is a 12 Watt water treatment bulb. The replacement bulb comes with a total length of 9.17". The light bulb has a peak output of 253.7nm that is the wavelength that is necessary to alter the genetic makeup of the microorganisms, rendering them harmless. The UVC lamp bulb is built in a non ozone glass layer and uses ceramic material.
