Loctite 5056 Silicone Sealant Yellow Liquid 25 ml Syringe

The Loctite 5056 Silicone Sealant Yellow Liquid 25 ml Syringeis a light yellow/clear liquid silicone sealant. This sealant is available in a 25 ml syringe. The non-corrosive sealant is a strong sealant that works great for variety of high speed adhesion and sealing applications.

The non-corrosive, low viscosity, UV/Visible light curing silicone adhesive is designed specifically for use in the assembly of disposable medical devices, bonding, potting, sealing and coating. The yellow silicone sealant has a cure time of 72 hours and delivers great performance with strength of 330 psi and tensile strength of 725 psi. Maximum operating temperature is +200 F.

The UV or visible light curing, non-corrosive silicone has a very high bond strength and works well for high speed adhesion and sealing applications. The high adhesion capabilities works well for difficult-to-bond substrates.

Elongation at break 170% Shore Hardness A 43

Light curing adhesives must be exposed to light of the proper wavelength and intensity to cure.  The UV and visible light wavelengths used to cure adhesives comprises a small portion of the complete electromagnetic spectrum shown. For the most effective cure, the spectral output of the light source used must match the adhesive pattern of light absorption.
