This product requires curing with a medium pressure mercury UV System producing at least 500 mW/cm2 of intensity. We recommend utilizing our Total-Cure1100s or the Total-Cure 2400 or a medium pressure mercury UV Curing Conveyor for optimal results.

Coverage: If applied by instructions, each gallon of wet-look covers 700-800 square feet at 1 mil. We recommend you use between 1 and 2 mil but naturally, the heavier you utilize the wet-look, the lower the coverage footage.

I run a small Custom Shop making primarily ukes but some other things as well. I started with nitro and water based poly, but the wait times were killing me. This product lays down smooth and is very tough. Use the grain filler and then a few coats of this and the finish is perfect. Once you get the technique down the process is pretty easy, and the coating dries in less than a minute under the UV light. With all of the sanding/prepping and buffing involved, I can start and finish and entire instrument ready to ship in just a few days instead of a few weeks, and its much more resilient than other products I've used. The customer service has always been almost instant, can't recommend enough.
I swore by nitro but the premium wet look finish is a perfect finish for our little guitar shop, easy to apply and easy to sand and buff. It truly gives us that wet-look we were looking for without changing the tone of the guitar at all and the finish quality is very tough to scratch.
