Our Philips - TUV G25T8 Air/Water Treatment Germicidal UV Light Bulb has G13 Medium bi-pin (2 pin), both ends and is 25 Watts germicidal water treatment bulb. The light bulb has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the light bulb for better system efficiency. This lamp is used in UVC light system mainly to deactivate the genetics of the microorganisms and making them harmless. It helps in destroying molds, virus, bacteria and yeast. The fixture is a high quality one with a low mercury dosage and has a high lifespan. Since the light bulbs are intended to destroy microorganisms it is necessary to schedule replacement of the bulbs annually to ensure efficiency of the system.
