Our Philips TUV18 Air/Water Treatment Germicidal UV Light Bulb is an18 Watts UVC bulb that has 4 pin on a single end 2G11. The UVC light bulb has an overall length of 8.66" and is made of ceramic base material. The UVC bulb has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the bulb. The germicidal UV light bulb is compatible with germicidal OEM air and water purifier, sanitizers and filters. The lamp inactivates and kills bacteria, molds, virus, protozoa and yeast and is low on mercury dosage to meet environmental demands.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit. This results in easy disposal of glass if it shatters and renders it easy to operate the system. All you will need to do is to select the option above. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that operates hot. The UV lamp is managed by the life of electrodes and works well for the following applications that require UVC intensity:
