The Siemens - LP4115 UV Light Bulb for Germicidal Water Treatment is a 4 Pin Step Single Ended  UV Replacement Bulb. The germicidal water treatment bulb has a total length of 14.04" inches and can work efficiently for up to 10,000 hours. This replacement light bulb has a peak output of 253.7 nm and this wavelength is capable of killing microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, protozoa and yeast.

UV method is a preferred method of water treatment as it employs UV light at a particular wavelength and disrupts the DNA of microorganisms.
