This replacement UV Lamp has an arc length of 12" and exceeds OEM standards of bulb performance. This gallium-filled UV lamp works to dry coatings and inks in signs and graphics.  It has also been used to cure coatings on wood applications.  Along with the curing lamp consists a quartz glass plate that protects the bulb from debris and works as a filler between the curing system and lamp. This plate prevents grit, dirt and contaminants from building up.

The demand for UV curing bulbs is increasing, mainly in the printing industry as the light bulbs help in instantly drying printing inks. Tradition methods of curing used solvents and heat, which meant that harmful volatile gases evaporated. Curing using UV method involves no heat and solvents, which makes this an eco-friendly option. The UV lamp is subjected to strict quality control measures.
