Our CureUV brand Replacement UVC Light Bulb for G56T5VH/MedBP is an ozone-producing medium bi-pin lamp that has a total length of 53.14 inches. A 185 nm UV light produces UV energy in wavelengths shorter than 220 nm which decompresses oxygen to produce ozone. The light bulb lasts 10,000 hours after which we highly recommend replacing it for better performance.  

The replacement bulb works to sanitize and kill bacteria, protozoa, molds, viruses, and yeasts present in water. Germs that cause harmful bacteria and microorganisms such as Vibrio cholera, influenza virus, hepatitis virus strains, and organisms causing gastroenteritis can easily be destroyed with this method of purification.
