Our CureUV Brand UVC Bulb for Purion UVL-48HO is a high-output 48-watt germicidal replacement lamp designed for reliable performance in UV water purification and sanitization systems. Featuring a 4-pin single-end base and a compact 17.17 inch (436 mm) length, this lamp is engineered as a compatible replacement for select Purion UV systems and equivalent units using the same lamp format.

This ozone-free, low-pressure mercury UV lamp emits germicidal 254 nm UV-C light, which is commonly used to help inactivate bacteria, viruses, molds, protozoa, yeasts, and other microorganisms in properly designed UV treatment equipment. Built with a durable T5 quartz tube and ceramic base, the lamp offers dependable operation, instant start performance, and strong UV output for demanding disinfection applications.

For added protection, this bulb is also available with an optional shatterproof coating. In the event of accidental breakage, the coating helps contain glass fragments, making cleanup easier and helping prevent debris from spreading inside the unit.
