CureUV WoodShield Pro UV Pigmented Topcoat – White Epoxy Acrylate UV Coating

The CureUV WoodShield Pro UV Pigmented Topcoat is a high-performance white epoxy acrylate UV-curable wood coating designed for interior wood finishing applications requiring fast cure speeds, excellent hide, and durable surface protection. This 100% UV-curable coating features near-zero VOC content, zero hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), and a non-flammable formulation, making it an efficient and environmentally conscious finishing solution.

Designed primarily for roll coating applications, the coating delivers excellent opacity at thin film builds of approximately 0.5–1.0 mil dry film thickness. Lower gloss versions are commonly used as UV primers, while higher sheen options such as 20 or 30 gloss can also serve as pigmented UV topcoats.

Its highly crosslinked epoxy acrylate chemistry provides excellent abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and long-term durability for demanding wood finishing applications.

Application & Cure Information

This product is supplied ready to use and is typically applied using roll coating equipment, although other application methods may be suitable depending on the substrate and production process.

This product requires curing with a medium pressure mercury UV System producing at least 500 mW/cm2 of intensity. We recommend utilizing our Total-Cure1100s or the Total-Cure 2400 or a medium pressure mercury UV Curing Conveyor for optimal results.

Note: This product is not designed for LED UV curing systems.

Cleanup Information

• Wet Coating: Remove using absorbent material and clean residue with acetone or isopropanol
• Dry Coating: Once cured, the material becomes insoluble and may be disposed of as solid waste in accordance with local regulations
