QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
I just installed a 15 Watt UV light bulb (SKU 191550) I purchased 4 1/2 years ago. All I am getting is an orange glow in the filaments at each end of the bulb. Could that be a problem with the bulb or the electronics in my 14 year old Fish Mate filter? The old bulb had been keeping the pond water clear until the last week or so........Thanks, Bob
Sounds like an issue with your unit. Since it is over 10 years old, there is a strong chance your ballast is failing. Do you have another lamp you can put in to see if it has the same effect?
