The Lancaster Pump 7-L10 Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a four pin on a single end lamp bulb that is a 56 watt germicidal water treatment bulb that works for the following UVC models:
- 7-LWT-UV10
- 7-LWT-UV015
- 7-LWT-UV016
The bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM water disinfection filters, ultraviolet purifiers, and UV sanitizers. The UVC light technology is believed to sanitize and kill over 99.99% germs in the water. The lamp bulb works effective against bacteria, molds, virus, protozoa and yeast. People believe that UV water purification provides a safe solution and this method of sterilization is a purely physical process and does not alter the pH, chemistry or taste of water. This method is both economic and environmental friendly and is a much better option to chemicals and their bi-products. The UV lamps emit wavelength energy of 254 nm and this energy reacts with the genetics of the microorganisms.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
