The U-bend tube is tested for quality and will give you worry-free performance for a year. It is recommended that you change the light bulb annually for better performance of your system.

It works well with air sterilization filters, purifiers, and sanitizers. The lamp uses 253.7nm of UV light in water and renders the microorganisms harmless.
