The Master Water MWC-7 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment has a wattage of 16 Watts and is a guaranteed UV replacement bulb that is a two pin diagonal single end base and has a length of 12.36" The ozone producing light bulb is completely compatible with germicidal water sterilization filters, water purifiers and UV sanitizers.
The lamp uses UV rays to inactivate bacteria and the fixture is a high quality one with long lifespan and lower mercury dosage. The UV light bulb comes with shatter proof coating that protects the lamp glass from falling into the unit. As a result of this the glass is protected making it safe for you to operate your system. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that works hot. The UV lamp life works on electrodes and is affected by the frequency of starting.
