The Opsytec Inert UV-LED Chamber BSL-01 is a compact yet powerful tabletop irradiation system designed for laboratory and manufacturing environments. Thanks to modern UV-LED technology, it achieves irradiance levels up to 800 mW/cm²—around 80 times higher than classical UV chambers of similar size.
Available wavelengths include 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm, 405 nm, and 450 nm. Optionally, two wavelengths can be controlled independently, allowing the chamber to be precisely adapted to the photoinitiator’s requirements—ideal for multi-product testing and laboratory research.
The nearly airtight design, equipped with separate gas inlets and outlets, enables irradiations under inert conditions. Nitrogen is recommended as the scavenging gas, applied with slight overpressure. For accurate process control, O₂ concentration can optionally be measured at the rear gas outlet.
Irradiance can be adjusted from 1% to 100%, with an integrated timer providing precise exposure control. For optimal accuracy, the system supports calibrated UVA+ sensors. The integrated UV-MAT and UV-MAT Touch control units enable automatic dose regulation—continuously monitoring irradiance and stopping the exposure once the preset dose is reached.
Three irradiance configurations are available:
- 0 to 800 mW/cm² (HO version)
- 0 to 400 mW/cm² (ECO version)
- 0 to 200 mW/cm² (ECO+ version)
Low thermal emission from the UV LEDs minimizes heat-related sample damage. For temperature-sensitive materials, an optional heating/cooling plate is available for precise temperature control.
The fully enclosed and safety-monitored design ensures complete protection for operating personnel against UV radiation.
