The BS-02 irradiation chamber delivers precise and uniform UV exposure, supporting UV-C, UV-B, or UV-A lamps for maximum irradiance. Two independently controlled lamp groups allow flexible spectral operation.
With tool-free interchangeable lamps and a spacious 19.29 × 12.6 × 9.06 in (49 × 32 × 23 cm) chamber, it ensures uniform irradiation while maintaining a controlled 77 °F - 86 °F (25 °C - 30 °C) temperature to prevent specimen damage.
For precision control, the BS-02 supports two advanced controllers:
UV-MAT: Compensates for lamp aging, contamination, and temperature fluctuations.
UV-MAT Touch: Features a high-resolution touchscreen, Cortex ARM processor, and Windows 10/11 compatibility for advanced control and documentation.

Heat Load & Operating Temperature
The total heat load of the BS-02 chamber is 580 BTU/hr (170 watts), including both the lamps and the internal electronics inside the chamber.
The controller consumes approximately 34 BTU/hr (10 watts).
During continuous operation, the typical temperature increase inside the chamber is approximately 9–18 °F (5–10 °C), helping maintain safe and stable operating conditions for sensitive samples.
The cooling system works through natural airflow: surrounding air enters from the bottom of the chamber, passes over the samples and lamps, and is vented out through the top of the chamber. This design helps regulate internal temperature and prevents excessive thermal buildup during extended irradiation cycles.
