The Opsytec UV-LED Chamber BSL-04 is the largest and most powerful irradiation chamber in the BSL series. Designed for professional laboratory and industrial use, it combines high irradiance with precise dose control to ensure exceptional reproducibility and reliable results.
Available wavelengths include 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm, 405 nm, and 450 nm. With irradiance levels reaching up to 110 mW/cm², the BSL-04 delivers uniform exposure even for large parts or entire batches. For maximum performance, the chamber can be configured with a single LED wavelength, or optionally with two independently controllable wavelengths for greater flexibility across applications.
Compared to the traditional BS series, the BSL-04 achieves 14 times higher irradiance, allowing for extremely short exposure times and consistent curing quality across all sample positions. Its high homogeneity ensures that samples can be placed anywhere in the chamber without affecting uniformity.
Featuring hallmark UV-LED advantages such as instant start, adjustable irradiance, and long service life, the BSL-04 is ideally suited for medium- to large-scale laboratory tests and for curing large components or coatings. The integrated timer guarantees precise control of exposure duration, while the built-in UV-MAT and UV-MAT Touch systems provide automated dose monitoring. When paired with an optional sensor, the system continuously measures irradiance and stops exposure once the target dose is reached. For maximum precision, calibrated UVA+ sensors are recommended.
The spacious sample area measures 33.9 x 25.2 in (86 x 64 cm) with a height of 11 in (28 cm). The movable sample carrier makes it easy to position and remove parts for bonding or curing.
Despite its large internal capacity, the BSL-04 remains a safe and compact unit. Its fully enclosed and monitored design guarantees complete operator protection from UV radiation during operation.
