The Plusrite - 5005 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a guaranteed water treatment bulb that has four pin in a straight line on a single end 2G11. The 18 Watt bulb has a U-bend tube and has an 8.66 inch lamp length. The water treatment bulb provides a worry free performance for an entire year, after which we recommend that you replace the bulb.
The lamp uses UV-C light to destroy molds, protozoa, virus and bacteria. The germicidal bulb is compatible with filters, sanitizers and water purifiers.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit. This results in easy disposal of glass if it shatters and renders it easy to operate the system. All you will need to do is to select the option above. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that operates hot. The UV lamp is managed by the life of electrodes and works well for the following applications that require UVC intensity:
