The four pin stepped on a single end lamp bulb has a diameter of 15mm and a UV output of 22 watts. With an average life of 8000 hours, the germicidal UV light bulb makes use of 80 volts to destroy bacteria, molds, virus and other pathogens present in water.
When water passes through the UV water treatment system, the microorganisms present in water are exposed to the light and their genetics is disrupted, thus inhibiting their ability to reproduce.
