The Sunlight - LP4040 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a guaranteed replacement UV bulb that gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The UV light bulb has single pin on both ends and the 33.2 inches water treatment bulb helps in inactivating bacteria, protozoa, yeast and molds present in water. The fixture has a long lifespan and low mercury dosage to meet environmental demands. The 41 Watts bulb works well with germicidal OEM Water sterilization filters, UV sanitizers and water purifiers.

The UV lamp is thoroughly tested and has a life of up to 10,000 hours after which the germicidal UV output diminishes while the lamp may continue to emit light. The UV lamp has a peak output of 254nm that reacts photo-chemically with the genetics of the microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing.
